This explains what [LEGAL_OPERATOR_NAME] ("we"), who runs Listdrop, collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is part of the Terms of Service. Contact: [SUPPORT_EMAIL].

What we collect

• Account: your name and email from sign-in, and passkeys you add (we keep only their public part).
• Activity: your groups and roles, the events you join, leave or attend, flags, alerts you send, and your notification settings.
• Money: your credit history (top-ups, shares, refunds, payouts) and your bank's name and last four digits. Stripe collects and holds your bank login and account numbers; we never see your bank password.
• Agreements: when you accepted these Terms and any debit authorization, the version, and the IP address and browser they came from.
• Technical: one sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in, and server logs. No advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

To run Listdrop: keep sign-up lists, take and refund shares, pay organizers, email you about your events and money, prevent fraud, keep records the law and the ACH network require, and answer you. We don't sell your information or use it for ads.

Who sees it

• Members of your groups see your name, your role and the events you're on.
• Stripe processes bank linking, debits and payouts.
• Our email provider delivers our emails to you.
• Address suggestions: the text typed into an event's location goes, from our server and without your identity, to the Photon geocoder.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

While your account is open. When it's closed we delete your profile, memberships and settings. We keep money records, debit authorizations and Terms acceptances for 7 years, separated from your profile where we can, because tax law and ACH rules require them. Server logs are kept for a short time.

Your choices

You can change your notification settings on the Settings page. Email [SUPPORT_EMAIL] to get a copy of your information, correct it, or close your account and have it deleted (apart from the records above). We'll answer within 30 days.

Security and age

Data travels encrypted, and payment details stay with Stripe. Listdrop is for people 18 and older; we don't knowingly collect anything about children.

Changes

When this policy changes, we'll show the new version and ask you to accept it with the Terms.
