Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-04
Listdrop helps pickup basketball groups fill runs, book courts and split the cost. It is run by [LEGAL_OPERATOR_NAME] ("we"). By using Listdrop you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. Questions: [SUPPORT_EMAIL].
1. Who can use Listdrop
You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding contract. Use your own name and email and keep one account. Money features need a US bank account in your name.
2. Groups and events
Organizers create groups and events and arrange the courts. We provide the sign-up list, the waitlist and the cost split; we don't run the games, own or rent the venues, or check anyone's conduct on court. You play at your own risk and follow the venue's rules.
Each event shows its court cost, how many players it needs, when payment opens and when it closes. When payment opens, your share is taken from your credits. If you leave after that and someone from the waitlist takes your place, your share comes back as credits. If nobody replaces you, the organizer keeps your share and may flag you in the group. If an event is cancelled, everyone's share comes back as credits.
3. Credits
Credits pay your share of events. You buy them by topping up from your linked bank by ACH debit, processed by our payment partner, Stripe. Before you confirm a top-up we show the credits, the processing fee and the total we'll debit.
- Credits are a prepaid balance for Listdrop events only. They aren't a bank deposit, earn no interest, can't be transferred to another person, and can't be withdrawn or cashed out.
- Refunds from events come back as credits, not to your bank.
- Some credits may be usable before your bank debit settles, up to the limit shown on your Credits page. If the debit is returned unpaid, those credits are reversed, the return fee shown on your Credits page is charged to your credits, and your balance can go below zero. While it is below zero you can't join events, and repeated returns stop top-ups.
4. Bank debits
Linking a bank means agreeing to the ACH debit authorization shown on screen, which covers the top-ups you request. Stripe emails you a copy. You can revoke it by emailing [SUPPORT_EMAIL]with 30 days' notice. If you think a debit is wrong, contact us first. Disputing a debit you authorized may suspend your account until it's resolved.
5. Organizers and payouts
Organizers receive their event's collected shares after the event, through Stripe. Payment processing services for organizers on Listdrop are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the "Stripe Services Agreement"). By agreeing to these Terms or continuing to operate as an organizer on Listdrop, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of Listdrop enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Listdrop accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize Listdrop to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.
We may hold a payout while a player's debit is unsettled, returned or disputed, or while we look into suspected fraud. Organizers are responsible for paying the venue and for their own taxes.
6. Your conduct
Don't misuse Listdrop: no fake accounts, no signing up others without permission, no harassment through alerts or descriptions, no attempts to get around payments or to break the service. We may suspend or close accounts that do, and may refuse top-ups or payouts we believe are fraudulent.
7. Disclaimers and liability
Listdrop is provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injuries or disputes arising from games, venues or other players. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes and ending
We may change these Terms. When we do, we'll ask you to accept the new version before you keep using Listdrop. You can stop using Listdrop at any time; to close your account, email [SUPPORT_EMAIL].
9. Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [LEGAL_GOVERNING_STATE], USA.
